Bringing people together to drive meaningful change

As I reflect on my career, having worked both client-side and agency-side, I’ve become adept at building, managing, and scaling, global teams –and I love it.

Bringing people together, with different perspectives, experiences, and skills to create meaningful change, has become the cornerstone of my leadership approach.

I have learnt so much over the past 15 years, and know that there has never been a more appropriate time for me to embrace the next level of my leadership journey. I’m ready to reflect and dig deep as I embark on this life-changing opportunity.

My goal is to establish deeper and broader connections through the powerful combination of mentorship, coaching and learning opportunities the Marketing Academy US Scholarship provides.

I would make the ideal scholar because I am…

  • An accomplished leader with 15+ years of business experience spanning two continents and driving award-winning results across the FTSE 500. Having worked both client-side and agency-side, I’m adept at building, managing and scaling global sales & marketing teams during hyper-growth phases. I am experienced in executing ambitious and scalable global strategies.

  • I understand the scope of a strong marketing leader thanks to the mentorship and sponsorship from some of the most impactful CMOs.

I have hired, developed and promoted top talent and continuously invest time to stay ahead of what’s happening in the industry.

I believe marketing will change more in the next 2 years than it has in the past 10 years. Ask me about my marketing predictions for 2025 and beyond.

  • I have received positive feedback on my self-awareness and my ability to accurately pick up on emotions and empathise with other people, even if I don't feel the same way.

I use my emotional awareness to guide my communication and apply it to any handling of conflict.

My focus is on developing the self-management of my emotions and how I use them to stay flexible and positively direct my behaviour in any situation.

  • In May 2018, I travelled to Malawi to teach, mentor, and empower women-owned start-ups. The goal continues to be about enabling them to grow their local economy and inspire the next generation.

Volunteered and helped establish wellness and confidence-building programs for the Rainbow School of Hope. Rainbow Hope Secondary School offers an opportunity for orphans and vulnerable children to access secondary school education.

  • Committed to sharing my learnings from the scholoarship program and continuing to provide people with access to shared knowledge, networking, learning opportunities, and developing the skills of the talent that will fuel the marketing teams of the future.

Hear from some of the people I have been most excited to work with to drive meaningful change…
